TeloYears
TeloYears is a genetic test that analyzes DNA to determine the “age” of your cells. It provides a better approximation of how well your body is aging than simply counting birth years. The test achieves this by analyzing the length of your telomeres, which are the caps on the ends of chromosomes in your DNA. The longer your telomeres, the “younger” your cells are.
The logo for TeloYears depicts an anthropomorphized chromosome, with hands and feet representing the telomeres. The figure leaps to symbolize the joy of the idea that, through the utilization of this test and lifestyle choices, cellular “age” can be positively influenced, effectively turning back the clock and keeping youth around longer.
Sunny yellow was selected to reinforce this positive and friendly feeling, and a modish stripe pattern—an abstraction of telomere length—was utilized throughout the materials to reference the science behind the technology.
